Day – 1          Arrival to Ben Gurion airport.

Reception with assistance. Transfer to the hotel in Tel Aviv.

Breakfast in the hotel; Visit to north of Israel, Visit to Kibbutz Na’an –  Dan Irrigation Systems – Review of the various irrigation systems including drip and sprinklers. Visit the Kibbutz to learn about its unique cooperative community deeply engaged in agriculture. Lunch. Visit to sweet water Fish Ponds and its automated feeding systems. Dinner and overnight in Tel Aviv

 

Day – 3          Banana, Mango, Milking, Herbs

Breakfast in the hotel; Visit Banana Plantation. Visit Mango Plantation. Lunch. Visit Automated Milking center. Visit herbs cultivation center. Dinner and overnight in Tel Aviv

 

Da y– 4          Academy

Breakfast in the hotel; visit Vulcany Institute of Agriculture; visit Rehovot’s Agriculture Faculty (Jerusalem’s University branch). Visit to Hazera, seeding company; Dinner and overnight in Tel Aviv

 

Day– 5           Citrus and packaging;

Breakfast in the hotel; Citrus growing Focus –  Visit packaging and QC center. Review recent technologies for Citrus growing Citrus Cultivation –  Visit to Citrus Orchard. Lunch. Visit to Hishshtil, leading nursery learning about their new techniques. Dinner and overnight in Tel Aviv

 

Day – 6          Desert Cultivation –  Palm Tree Technology

Breakfast in the hotel; travel to the Dead Sea area; visit Palm Tree cultivation; visit in the Dead Sea area of sites linked to Desert Agriculture; time to “float” in the Dead Sea Salty and highly asphaltic waters. Dinner and overnight in Jerusalem

 

Day – 7          Jerusalem, Old City main attractions    

Breakfast in the hotel; visits in Jerusalem to include the Mount of Olives, King David Tomb, Last Supper Room, enter the Old City to the basilica of the Holy Sepulcher. Continue to the Wailing Wall. Lunch. Dinner and overnight in Jerusalem

 

Day – 8          Transfer to the airport

Breakfast in the hotel; Transfer to the airport; end of services.
